Anti-corruption and Anti-bribery Policy
The purpose of this policy is to regulate and establish the behaviour to be always followed by the staff of the Miquel y Costas Group to prevent any instances of corruption and bribery in its business activities. This policy also outlines the consequences of non-compliance.
To achieve these objectives, all companies within the Group and their related personnel commit to adhering to the highest legal and ethical standards and to complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY
Miquel y Costas has a solid Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy based on strict compliance with all applicable laws, a code of ethics that applies to all the Group’s human resources, and a firm commitment to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This policy reflects the principles of equity, integrity and transparency, as well as the resolve to minister to social, cultural and environmental needs in the communities where our companies operate via the Miquel y Costas Foundation.
Human Rights
Respect for Human Rights is a fundamental part of Miquel y Costas’ values and a feature intrinsically linked to business activities. Through the Human Rights Policy, the Group formalizes its commitment to the human rights recognized in current legislation and settles the principles established to act with due diligence in accordance with the OCD guidelines, the policies of the International Labor Organization, the United Nations Global Compact, the Sustainable Development Goals approved by the United Nations and the Company’s Code of Ethics.
Privacy Policy of Ethical Channel
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide information on the processing of personal data for the management and investigation of complaints or queries submitted through the Ethics Channel of Miquel y Costas & Miquel S.A., as well as of the entities that make up its Group.
